Cinque Terre, Italy
Hello all...
Cinque Terre. The most rewarding but most
difficult hike in this series. The small group of towns fall along the coast of
Italy and mainly consist of small fishing villages which still operate
traditionally with a growing tourist influx over the many years. The Towns are
situated on very steep terrain and thus making this the hardest hike of them
all. The walk begins at about 6:30am and nearly finished around 7pm (With a lot
of breaks), the track goes from road to dirt to suspended rope bridges and the
all the rest in between. As the towns were situated along the track it was
great to stop and have fresh fish and chips and some sightseeing before heading
off again (which saved Alex and I from dying). The photos unfortunately only
show the last moments of our trek.
